Job summary

Uk Staffing Group Limited is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a major construction and fit-out project near Stansted. You will lead the site team, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure delivery safely, to programme and to the required standards.

Work closely with the Project Manager and client representatives, manage RAMS and site documentation, review drawings and maintain accurate site records. SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are preferred; a strong health and safety culture is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction or fit-out projects.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site coordination.
• Experience with significant M&E/building services elements.
• Experience on projects in complex or live environments.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications and construction information.
• Good programme and planning knowledge.
• Confidently manage site teams and subcontractors.
• Strong communication with clients, consultants and project teams.
• Proactive problem-solving approach.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (advantageous).

• Managing subcontractor performance and resolving on-site issues
• Reviewing RAMS, permits and site documentation
• Identifying and resolving programme, quality and coordination issues
• Supporting delivery of technically complex construction and fit-out works
• Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress
