Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London site in Hertfordshire is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a major commercial office fit-out. You will lead day-to-day operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards on site.

The role requires proven site management experience within commercial fit-out, strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to manage a busy site environment with a strong focus on health and safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial fit-out.
• Experience delivering projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of commercial office fit-out projects.

Fixed-Term Contract Hertfordshire

We're currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a major blue-chip contractor on an exciting commercial office fit-out project in Hertfordshire.

This is a great opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in commercial fit-out who is confident managing projects on site and working to high standards of quality, safety and programme.

The Role:

• Managing the day-to-day operations on site
• Coordinating subcontractors and site teams
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards
• Managing site health & safety and maintaining excellent site standards
• Liaising with the project management team, client and subcontractors
• Monitoring progress and assisting with programme delivery
• Ensuring all works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and project requirements

About You:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial fit-out
• Proven experience seeing projects from start to finish
• Strong knowledge of commercial office fit-out projects
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Able to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively
• Strong understanding of health & safety requirements
• CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid qualifications are desirable/required
• Professional, proactive and confident in managing a busy site environment
