Job summary

Pioneer Selection is seeking a Site Engineering Manager for a days-based, on-site role in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. The position leads the engineering function for a highly automated warehouse operation, ensuring maximum equipment availability and proactive maintenance to minimise downtime.

You will manage a team of engineers, drive improvements, and work closely with operations and customers to raise reliability and performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an engineering/maintenance team.
• Strong knowledge of planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance.
• Experience with automated equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Experience using CMMS systems.
• Solid Health & Safety understanding.
• Experience working with operations and customers to improve equipment reliability.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site engineering function and manage day-to-day maintenance activities.
• Drive planned, preventive and breakdown maintenance to maximise equipment availability.
• Lead a team of engineers and develop their skills and capabilities.
