Proactive Global is seeking an experienced Resident Site Engineer for a busy automated warehouse in Derbyshire. The role focuses on keeping conveyors and automated handling systems running safely, with hands-on maintenance, fault-finding and planned repairs.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 engineering qualification, an electrically biased background and around 5+ years of relevant experience, plus comfort working at heights and on rotating 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Level 3 engineering qualification is essential.
• Electrically biased engineering background.
• Around 5+ years' relevant engineering experience.
• Strong maintenance, fault-finding and repair experience.
• Background in automation, logistics, conveyors, FMCG, packaging or similar environments.
• Comfortable working within a highly automated warehouse environment.
• Must be comfortable working at heights of up to 32 metres.
• Able to work a rotating 12-hour day and night shift.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Reliable and safety-conscious, with a stable employment history.
• Not suitable for junior engineers.
