Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking a Resident Site Engineer for a fully automated warehouse operation in Derbyshire. The role focuses on keeping automated equipment running safely, with planned and reactive maintenance across conveyors, handling systems, motors and sensors.

The ideal candidate has a Level 3 engineering qualification, around 5+ years' experience, and a background in automation or FMCG environments.

Qualifications

• Level 3 engineering qualification is essential.
• Strong experience in maintenance, fault-finding and repair.
• Background in automation, logistics, conveyors, FMCG, packaging or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Keep automated warehouse equipment operating safely and efficiently.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across automated systems.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, identify root causes and support reliability and performance.
