Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Site Engineering Manager for our Ashby-de-la-Zouch site. The role focuses on leading a highly automated operation, managing day-to-day engineering and maintenance, and driving performance with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

You will oversee a team of engineers, coordinate maintenance strategies, and work closely with operations and customers to improve equipment reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous management or engineering leadership experience.
• Experience working within a manufacturing or automated warehousing environment.
• Minimum NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 engineering qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations.
• Ensure planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance is delivered to a high standard.
• Maximise equipment availability and minimise downtime.
• Drive engineering performance and continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop the site engineering team and work with operations and customers.
