Job summary

DWP Digital in the United Kingdom is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to mentor high-performing teams, deliver high-quality ServiceNow solutions, and shape large-scale implementations across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and more.

You will provide technical leadership across ServiceNow modules, champion security by design and best practices, and collaborate with architects, product teams and senior stakeholders to deliver modern, user-centred digital services for around 120,000 colleagues.

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD and security-focused modules.
Strong knowledge of security-by-design, automation and AI-driven operations.
Experience implementing/optimising Security Operations and ITOM in complex enterprises.
Excellent leadership and influencing skills for guiding engineers and solving technical challenges.
Proven track record designing and supporting security products across cloud and on-prem environments.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple engineering teams, mentor engineers, and champion engineering best practices.
Define and enforce development standards, quality, security and architecture across ServiceNow initiatives.
Influence strategic direction of the ServiceNow platform and collaborate with architects and senior stakeholders.
