Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a Lead Senior Support Worker for a premier nursing home in Christchurch, Dorset. The role focuses on leadership, clinical oversight, and high-quality person-centred care in a dementia-friendly setting.

You will support the Home Manager, supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage rotas and incident reporting while promoting excellent service delivery.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is required.
• Experience in health and social care settings is beneficial.
• Ability to lead and supervise staff and ensure safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Home Manager in leadership and operational duties.
• Supervise and mentor Senior Support Workers.
• Ensure compliance with CQC, Local Authority, and Health & Safety regulations.
• Participate in the local on-call system and manage staff rotas.
• Promote person-centred care and communication.
• Oversee medication management and stock control.
• Conduct staff interviews, training, and performance reviews.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and review care plans monthly.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure value for money.
• Attend social reviews and support incident reporting.

To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care

As a Lead Senior Support Worker your key duties include:

• Support the Home Manager in leadership and operational duties

The successful Lead Senior Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £15.00 per hour and the annual salary up to £37,440 per annum.
