Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a Senior Support Worker for a leading care home in Congleton, Cheshire. The role requires an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent and involves night shifts, 36 hours per week, and full-time employment.

You will contribute to care planning, supervise staff, and maintain high standards of dementia, residential, and respite care, ensuring residents’ daily needs are met with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents.
• Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals.
• Contribute to care planning and coach support workers.
• Take an active professional role in promoting the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries.
• Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation.
• Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care.
• Be responsible for administering medication to the residents in accordance with policies and procedures.

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Senior Support Worker to work in an exceptional care home based in Congleton, Cheshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.

To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.

Key Duties

Salary and Benefits

The successful Senior Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £14.50 per hour and the annual salary of £27,144 per annum.
