Job summary

Mitie is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to lead a small front of house team at a high-profile head office in Nottingham City Centre. This is a fixed-term, six-month contract with hours Mon to Fri 7.30am to 5.30pm.

The successful candidate will oversee daily security operations, ensure service standards, and support ongoing training and development of Security Officers on site to protect people, property and assets.

Qualifications

• Experience in a security supervisory role or demonstrable leadership
• Strong written and verbal English skills
• A valid, in-date SIA licence including CCTV
• Good IT skills and confidence with standard software
• Reliability, self-motivation and ability to use initiative with minimal supervision
• Ability to solve problems, make sound decisions and prioritise effectively
• Ability to motivate others and maintain high standards
• Tact, diplomacy and professional conduct at all levels
• Commitment to personal development and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day security operations on site
• Lead and develop the Security Officers to meet KPIs and SLAs
• Ensure high standards of appearance, conduct and performance
• Coordinate inductions, training and site procedures
• Liaise with client and respond to incidents and investigations
• Maintain accurate security records and incident reporting
• Support security and equipment-related investigations
• Provide professional customer and client liaison as required
