Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a vigilant Security Officer for the Liverpool Street site in London.

You will cover Front of House, undertake patrols of the premises, respond to alarms, and maintain a professional presence while enforcing site policies and assisting with emergencies. The role requires corporate-security experience, valid DS licence (CCTV preferred), First Aid certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as Security Officer on corporate sites.
• Emergency response experience.
• Valid Security Licence (DS).
• CCTV Licence preferred.
• Valid First Aid Certificate (EFAW or FAW).
• Strong observational skills and security situational awareness.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Physically fit and capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills.
• Social Media/ DBS Check.

Responsibilities

• Cover Front of House & Reception as scheduled.
• Patrol interior and exterior areas regularly.
• Respond to alarms and incidents promptly.
• Maintain visible, professional presence.
• Enforce site policies and write incident reports.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement if needed.
• Provide excellent client service to visitors.
• Assist with emergency response and evacuations.
