Job summary

Hightown Housing Association Ltd in St Albans is seeking a compassionate Scheme Manager to lead two supported housing schemes, overseeing 37.5 hours per week with a salary of £34,320 per year. You will manage staff, ensure safeguarding and housing management standards, and deliver person-centred, trauma-informed support to residents.

You will also build partnerships with local authorities and external agencies while guiding residents to independence and access essential services.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people management experience in housing or homelessness settings.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, housing management and complex needs.
• Experience in homelessness, supported housing or similar.
• Management experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership, ensuring services reflect our values: Empower, Respect, Inclusion, Compassion and Collaboration.
• Support residents to build independence and access services.
• Lead, supervise and develop staff, managing rotas and performance.
• Maintain high standards in safeguarding, housing management and service delivery.
• Build strong partnerships with local authorities and external agencies.
• Oversee referrals, voids, incidents and continuous improvement.
