Sanctuary Group in Leeds is seeking a Scheme Manager to deliver a high quality housing management service for Homeownership, supporting older residents and promoting independence. The role includes welfare and compliance checks, welfare calls, and repairs oversight within a community-focused environment.

The successful candidate will have numeracy and literacy to GCSE C or above, some experience with older people, and an ability to work across schemes with safeguarding awareness.

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths.
• Some experience of working with older people and understanding their individual needs or similar.

Responsabilités

• Promoting independent living and sign posting to appropriate agencies.
• Encouraging residents to organise and get involved in activities.
• Completing mandatory compliance tasks along with health and safety checks.
• Reporting and monitoring repairs to conclusion, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
• Wellbeing calls to residents via warden call system.
• Providing cover at other schemes in the region for other Scheme Managers.

We have an opportunity for a Scheme Manager

- Homeownership to join our Homeownership team in Leeds. As a Scheme Manager

- Homeownership you will be responsible for providing a high quality housing management service which will include welfare checks, compliance checks, following up communal repairs and promoting independent living. This is a rewarding yet challenging role and is ideal for someone who has previous experience of working with older people in a housing management setting and aware of safeguarding concerns.
