IC Resources is seeking a principal electronics engineer for a satellite programme. This role is a principal individual contributor with potential to move into management as the business grows.

You will bring deep knowledge of digital and power electronics and drive requirements down into subsystem development. Working with mechanical, software, systems and other disciplines, you will ensure the electronics architecture aligns with the overall programme and serve as the problem-solver when

Qualificações

• Significant experience in spacecraft or other high-reliability electronics development.
• Strong understanding of both digital and power electronics.
• Experience in satellite or complex systems-level electronics architecture.
• Proven ability to derive and manage requirements at subsystem level.
• Hands-on engineering background with ability to review others' work.
• Excellent English communication skills for real-time liaison across teams.
• Right to work in the UK and ability to meet export control requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Define and own electronics architecture at satellite level, including architectural layout
• Flow requirements down into subsystem developments and keep them traceable
• Provide hands-on design input and technical review across digital and power electronics
• Act as the link between the electronics team and other engineering disciplines
• Lead problem-solving and root-cause analysis when issues arise in development or test
• Support and mentor colleagues through reviews and technical guidance
