Job summary

IC Resources is seeking a Principal Electronics Engineer to act as a senior technical authority within the Electronics team on high-reliability spacecraft projects in Glasgow. You will drive the definition, development, verification, qualification and ongoing improvement of spacecraft electronics architectures, applying deep technical judgement to complex problems.

Qualifications

• Significant analogue and digital hardware design experience in high-reliability, regulated environments.
• Practical understanding of electronics design, verification, qualification and production release.
• Good understanding of EMC, reliability, manufacturability, testability, fault investigation and technical risk.
• Hands-on experience with CAN, SPI, I2C and UART, embedded interfaces, ADCs, DC/DC converters and LDOs.
• Proven experience guiding complex designs from concept through verification, release, manufacturing support and issue resolution.
• Specialist experience in one or more areas: power, RF, onboard computing, embedded, high-speed digital, or high-rel analogue.
