Job summary

IC Resources is seeking a Head of Electronics to lead the architectural direction and delivery of complex sensor systems. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with ownership from concept through validated product.

You will oversee hardware architecture, PCB development, and cross-functional integration across software, firmware, and mechanics, mentoring engineers while driving the hardware roadmap and technical decisions.

Qualifications

Strong background in electronic hardware design for complex embedded or vision systems.
Proven experience with schematic capture, PCB layout and board-level bring-up.
Excellent academic background, typically a strong degree from a leading university in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
Ability to operate as a technical authority within a small, fast-moving team.

Responsibilities

Own hardware architecture, schematic design and PCB development for vision and sensing systems.
Lead electronics development across prototypes, verification and production readiness.
Work closely with software, firmware and mechanical teams on full system integration.
Support high-speed digital interfaces, power systems and sensor integration.
Drive design reviews, technical decisions and hardware roadmap planning.
Mentor engineers while remaining hands-on with design and validation.
