You will be joining our enthusiastic and highly experienced HR team, who work at the heart of the organisation, committed to making positive change in how Homes England attracts, rewards and retains talented people by shaping people strategies and delivering innovative reward approaches that support our ambition to be an employer of choice while ensuring fairness, transparency and value for money.

Kim is dedicated to delivering a first-class customer service, taking an innovative and creative approach to pay and reward challenges. Kim values diversity in experience and perspective to foster good decision making, collaborative working and problem solving within their team.

This is a rare chance to shape the future of pay and reward within a fast growing, national organisation with real social purpose. Working with senior leaders, Trade Unions, the Board, Finance colleagues and external advisers, you will lead the development and implementation of reward frameworks, policies and governance arrangements that support organisational performance whilst balancing affordability, fairness and competitiveness.

There are some exciting and ambitious projects to get involved with and this is an excellent opportunity to balance day to day delivery whilst bringing innovative solutions to shape the future of pay and reward at Homes England.

A bit about you…

You’ll be an experienced reward professional with deep expertise in developing and implementing pay and reward strategies, frameworks and governance arrangements. You’ll be confident using pay analysis, modelling and benchmarking to turn complex issues into clear, evidence-based recommendations that balance affordability, fairness, competitiveness and organisational priorities.

Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn’t always easy. You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level, and your discussions will be shaped by a strong understanding of the commercial, financial and operational context in which Homes England operates. You will enjoy working in a collaborative and engaging way and be able to influence, negotiate and build consensus across a wide range of stakeholders.

As an experienced reward professional, you'll understand how to translate complex reward challenges into practical solutions and will be able to demonstrate a track record of working collaboratively with colleagues, leaders, trade unions and external partners to deliver positive outcomes. You'll bring both strategic vision and technical expertise, helping to ensure our reward frameworks remain fair, compliant, sustainable and aligned to organisational priorities.
