Job summary

Kenton Black Limited is representing a leading residential groundworks contractor recruiting a Project Manager to oversee multiple projects in Gloucestershire and surrounding counties. You will manage delivery from pre-start to completion, ensuring safety, programme adherence, and budget alignment.

Projects typically range in value and you will collaborate with Contracts Managers, Site Managers, Engineers and the Commercial Team to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within residential groundworks.
• Strong knowledge of roads & sewers, earthworks, drainage, foundations and external works.
• Experience delivering projects for major UK housebuilders.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong planning and organisational ability.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to manage project performance.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operational delivery of multiple residential groundworks projects.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.
• Lead and support Site Managers, Engineers and Foremen.
• Produce and monitor project programmes.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Chair site progress meetings with clients and consultants.
• Monitor project performance, quality and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and environmental legislation.
• Work collaboratively with the Commercial Team to manage project costs and variations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
