Job summary

Joining Careers Education is seeking a Registered Manager to lead a children’s home and provide a nurturing, safe environment for young people. You will oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive high-quality care and outcomes for residents.

The role requires extensive experience in residential care management, a Level 3 diploma (NVQ/QCF) and Level 5 leadership qualification, plus a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and relevant legislation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational abilities.

• Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and deliver high-quality care.
• Lead and inspire a motivated team, providing guidance and support.
• Manage budgets, resources and the home environment.
• Safeguard young people and liaise with professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement and fulfil the home's statement of purpose.
