Job summary

Daytime Healthcare Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a fully operational Ofsted-registered children’s home in South East London. The role offers £65,000–£70,000 per year with probation and performance bonuses.

You will oversee safeguarding, care planning, and multidisciplinary collaboration to secure stable placements and positive outcomes for young people. A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare and a UK driving licence are

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in Ofsted-regulated settings.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and incident management.
• Staff leadership and multi-disciplinary collaboration.
• Experience with care planning and placement stability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the home and leadership of staff.
• Maintain safeguarding, care planning, risk management, and quality assurance.
• Ensure Ofsted readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Build relationships with social workers, CAMHS, commissioners and education providers.
• Represent the home at reviews and professional forums.
