Job summary

RJS Resourcing is seeking a Registered Manager to lead a brand-new children's residential home in Stoke-on-Trent, ensuring readiness for registration and ongoing development. You will work with Directors to establish safeguarding standards, recruit and develop a dedicated staff team, and create a therapeutic, child-centred environment for young people.

Applications are welcome from experienced Registered Managers or ambitious Deputy Managers ready to take the next step, with strong leadership

Responsibilities

Lead the registration process alongside Directors.
Recruit, support and develop the residential care team.
Establish a safe, nurturing and child-centred environment.
Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements, safeguarding legislation and the Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
Develop policies, procedures and recording systems.
Oversee individual care plans, risk assessments and placement planning.
Build strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, families and external professionals.
Maintain high standards of quality assurance and inspection readiness.
Promote positive outcomes, emotional wellbeing and personal development for young people.
