Job summary

AVEVA is seeking an experienced Lead Consultant to spearhead real-time optimization projects for refinery and petrochemical operations using AVEVA Process Optimization software. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end implementation, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support presales activities.

The role requires a strong background in process engineering, simulation tools, and optimization technologies, with responsibilities spanning FDS reviews, FAT/SAT, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of experience in real-time optimization systems.
• Minimum 8 years in refinery, petrochemical, chemical, or EPC sectors.
• Hands-on process simulators experience and English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Lead project kickoff and design specification meetings.
• Review and configure FDS for AVEVA Process Optimization.
• Conduct models reviews, FAT, and SAT activities.
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation.
• Deliver user training and provide ongoing application support.
• Collaborate with sales to develop strong technical proposals.
