Job summary

MWH Treatment is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a major water infrastructure project at Wigan WwTW. Based on site, you will own commercial aspects, manage costs, and interface with client and project teams.

You will administer NEC3 contracts, prepare payment applications, and mentor junior commercial staff, delivering robust reporting and value management in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in quantity surveying.
• Working towards or Chartered member status.
• Experience in utilities, civil engineering, or MEICA sectors.
• NEC3 experience.
• Strong cost control and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead QS activities for allocated projects and work packages.
• Collaborate with design, construction and supply chain teams to capture, analyse and control cost.
• Administer the main contract, ensuring that contractual notices and correspondence are identified, prepared and issued when required.
• Prepare and issue subcontract documentation and manage subcontractors.
• Manage the preparation, submission and agreement of applications for payment.
• Support the management, mentoring and development of junior commercial team members.
