Job summary

Infosys seeks a Lead Consultant with 10+ years in turbomachinery for power/aviation. You will lead engineers, manage multi-disciplinary design and non-conformance processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality aero-engine components.

You will mentor a team and drive technical delivery across product development, production, or service stages, ensuring alignment with safety, cost, and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in turbomachinery components for power or aviation industries.
• Strong understanding of aero engine modules including compressors, turbines, combustion, structures, casings, rotatives, and airfoils.
• Experience with design modification to reduce cost and resolve service/manufacturing issues.

Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical and people leadership across Product Development Life Cycle or Production stages or After Market services.
• Lead and develop a team of engineers, drive technical delivery excellence, ensure outputs meet customer expectations for quality, safety, cost, schedule and manufacturability.
• Mentor team members, manage priorities, support governance, and enable successful delivery through ownership and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Stress, Air System, Materials engineers; participate in technical reviews and concession boards; liaise with customer authorities for non-conformances.
