Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a Producibility Design Engineer / Lead Consultant in the Derby/Bristol area to drive aero engine design initiatives. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on development across product lifecycle stages, from concept through production and service.

You will lead a team of engineers, interface with stakeholders, ensure manufacturability, cost targets, and schedule adherence, while delivering high-quality aerospace solutions within a collaborative Infosys

Qualifications

10+ years of working experience on turbomachinery components for aero/power industries.
Experience on Rolls-Royce projects is preferred.
Strong understanding of aero engine modules (compressors, turbines, combustion, structures, casings, rotatives, airfoils).
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.
Experience with design changes through DAR/Concessions and related processes.

Responsibilities

Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical and people leadership across stages of the product development lifecycle or production services.
Lead and develop a team of engineers, drive technical delivery excellence, ensure outputs meet quality, safety, cost, and schedule targets.
Mentor team members, manage priorities, support governance, and enable successful delivery through ownership and continuous improvement.
Foster a learning culture with teamwork, collaboration, and diverse, inclusive values.
