Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Lead Consultant Technology – Aerospace in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on aero engine stress analysis, leading a team of engineers and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure quality, safety, cost and schedule targets are met.

The position requires deep experience with turbomachinery components, aero engine modules, and advanced FEA tools. You will drive technical delivery and foster a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in turbomachinery components for aero engines or power gas turbines.
  • Strong understanding of aero engine modules (Rotative, Compressors, Turbines, Combustors, Structures & Casings).
  • Experience in DOE, RCA and field failure analysis independently, guiding team members.
  • Familiarity with LCF, HCF and Weld fatigue analyses; damage tolerance and fracture mechanics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of stress engineers, driving technical delivery excellence and stakeholder governance.
  • Interface with stakeholders, ensure outputs meet quality, safety, cost, schedule and manufacturability targets.
  • Steer high-level stress analysis tasks, mentor engineers, manage priorities and enable successful delivery.
  • Promote a learning culture with teamwork, collaboration, excellence and diversity.
