Job summary

Egis Group is expanding its UK water business and seeks a senior Process Engineer to lead design delivery for major water and wastewater projects. You will shape process strategies, select treatment options and drive technical excellence across the full design lifecycle.

You will mentor engineers, support bid shaping, engage with clients and help grow the process capability in a fast-growing UK team. UK-specific standards and regulatory awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• BEng/MEng in Chemical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer with IChemE or equivalent.
• 8-10+ years of process design experience in water/wastewater.
• Proven ability as process lead on multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong knowledge of process design, mass balance, PFDs, P&IDs and design basis development.
• Experience with BioWin, SUMO, Dynamizu or similar modelling tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design delivery on multidisciplinary water/wastewater projects across the full design lifecycle.
• Act as process technical lead, owning design strategy, treatment process selection and key decisions.
• Review and approve key documents: calculations, mass balances, PFDs, P&IDs, design basis reports.
• Lead process modelling and simulation with BioWin, SUMO, Dynamizu or equivalent.
• Lead optioneering, capacity assessments, value engineering and design reviews.
• Drive multidisciplinary coordination across engineering, construction and operations teams.
