Job summary

Egis is expanding its UK Water team and seeking a Principal Process Engineer – Water to lead multidisciplinary design on major water and wastewater schemes across the UK. You will drive technical strategy, mentor engineers, and shape project outcomes with a focus on sustainable, compliant solutions.

Based in London, Bristol, or Manchester with hybrid working, you will collaborate across disciplines, manage critical interfaces, and contribute to bids and client engagement as part of a high-growth

Qualifications

• BEng/MEng or equivalent in Chemical/Process Engineering.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with IChemE or similar.
• 8–10+ years in process design for water/wastewater/biosolids.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design delivery across full lifecycle for water/wastewater projects.
• Act as process technical lead; own design strategy and deliverables.
• Review and approve process calculations, mass balances, PFDs, P&IDs.
