Egis Group is expanding its UK Water team to deliver major water and wastewater programmes across municipal and industrial sectors. The Principal Process Engineer role leads process design across full lifecycles, mentoring engineers and shaping the capability with BioWin/SUMO/Dynamizu expertise.

Hybrid work in London/Bristol/Manchester is available, with strong client engagement and opportunity for rapid progression.

Formación

• BEng or MEng in Chemical/Process Engineering or closely related field.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status (IChemE preferred).
• 8–10+ years of process design experience.
• Experience in water/wastewater and biosolids/sludge treatment design.
• Proven ability to act as process discipline lead or senior technical lead on multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong technical expertise in water/wastewater process design (PFDs, P&IDs, mass balance).
• Experience with process modelling tools BioWin, SUMO, Dynamizu or equivalent.
• Understanding of UK water industry standards and CDM 2015.

Responsabilidades

• Lead process design delivery on multidisciplinary water/wastewater projects through full design lifecycle.
• Act as process technical lead, defining strategy, selection, interfaces, risks, and deliverable quality.
• Review and approve process calculations, mass balances, PFDs and P&IDs.
• Lead modelling and simulation using BioWin, SUMO, Dynamizu or equivalents.
• Lead optioneering, capacity assessments, value engineering, design reviews and commissioning input.
• Coordinate across Mechanical, EICA, civil/structural, MEP, construction and operations teams.
• Promote lean, digital delivery with standardised tools and templates.
• Provide technical assurance and support project managers on risk, scope and changes.
• Mentor and manage engineers, supporting chartership progression.
