Egis is expanding its UK Water Business and is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead design delivery on major water and wastewater projects. You will drive technical strategy, coordinate across engineering disciplines and ensure robust, value‑driven solutions.

Qualified candidates will have hands-on design leadership, strong familiarity with UK water standards, and a track record of delivering complex plant and process systems.

Formación

• BEng/MEng in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or IEng with a relevant institution.

Responsabilidades

• Lead mechanical design delivery on multidisciplinary water/wastewater projects across the full design lifecycle.
• Act as mechanical technical lead on projects, owning design strategy and key decisions.
• Review and approve mechanical calculations, specifications, datasheets, reports, P&IDs, layouts and supplier submissions.
• Lead equipment selection and mechanical design for pumps, pipework, valves, tanks and process systems.
• Drive multidisciplinary coordination across Process, EICA, civil/structural, MEP, construction and operations teams.
• Promote lean and digitally enabled delivery with BIM/3D coordination and data-led design.
• Provide technical assurance and support project managers with risk, resourcing and change control.
• Mentor and develop engineers and support chartership progression.
