Kintec Global Recruitment seeks a Senior Process Engineer in Guilford to lead process design across conceptual, FEED and detailed phases, and to develop PFDs, P&IDs, control architectures and system models. You will drive safety and efficiency through rigorous analysis and modelling.

The ideal candidate is a Chartered Engineer with 5+ years of supervisory experience, with strong COMAH knowledge for natural gas and hydrogen, and a track record of mentoring across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer with professional institution membership.
• 5+ years in supervisory or management role leading engineers and external contractors.
• Experience across conceptual, FEED, and detailed design in the energy sector.
• Strong understanding of oil and gas operations.
• Knowledge of COMAH safety requirements.

Responsabilités

• Lead process design work across conceptual, FEED and detailed design phases.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, control architectures, and system models.
• Support safe, efficient operation through process assessment and data analysis.
• Manage risk through HAZOP, HAZID, and wider safety studies.
• Ensure COMAH and regulatory compliance for natural gas and hydrogen.
• Supervise engineers and external contractors to deliver projects on time, within quality standards and budget.
• Drive innovative solutions and plant improvements across the asset.
• Coach and train junior engineers across multiple disciplines.
