Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer in Guildford to lead process design across conceptual, FEED and detailed phases. You will develop PFDs, P&IDs, control architectures, and system models while guiding engineers and external contractors to meet timelines, quality, and budget.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer with member-level professional institution membership.
• Minimum 5 years in supervisory/management roles leading teams and contractors.
• Experience on conceptual to detailed design projects in the energy sector.
• Strong understanding of oil and gas engineering.
• Experience with system design: PFDs, P&IDs, control architectures, modelling.
• Solid knowledge of COMAH and safety requirements for gas installations.
• Risk management experience including HAZOP/HAZID.
• Proven track record delivering projects and innovating.
• Willingness to train cross-discipline teams.
• Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering preferred.

Requirements

• Chartered Engineer with member-level membership of a professional institution.

• Multi-disciplinary experience on conceptual, FEED and detailed design projects in the energy industry.
• Strong understanding of the engineering behind oil and gas operations.
• System design experience, including PFDs, P&IDs, control architectures, and system modelling.
• Excellent understanding of COMAH and safety requirements for natural gas and hydrogen installations.
• Risk management experience, including HAZOP and HAZID.
• Proven track record of achieving deliverables and developing innovative solutions.
• Keen to build cross-discipline skills and train others.
• Degree in Chemical, Process, or equivalent Engineering preferred.
