Job Title: Account Solution Engineer

Join our Salesforce Solution Engineering team and be part of a successful group serving the UKI Retail Sector. We seek individuals with deep experience in complex transformation projects who are eager to develop innovative solutions in a dynamic environment.

Role Overview

The Solution Engineer, also known as a Presales Consultant or Sales Engineer, collaborates with customers, product teams, and professional services to craft solutions that connect businesses with their customers. This role involves engaging with the entire customer lifecycle, providing technical expertise, and supporting sales efforts.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead the solution cycle through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  2. Identify customer needs and position Salesforce products as optimal solutions.
  3. Understand industry-specific challenges and tailor solutions accordingly.
  4. Develop and present customized demos and solutions to decision-makers.
  5. Participate in ongoing training and certification to stay current with product knowledge.
  6. Achieve quarterly and annual sales and solution objectives.
  7. Respond effectively to RFPs and lead the technical aspects of the sales process.
  8. Engage in career development opportunities and internal training programs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years in solution engineering, consultancy, or related fields within enterprise software.
  • Experience selling into UK retail and consumer goods sectors.
  • Relevant Salesforce or other certifications, especially related to AI and LLM.
  • Experience with digital transformation strategies and enterprise consulting.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Effective time management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with a passion for technology and knowledge sharing.
  • Willing to travel occasionally.
  • Additional experience in leadership, military, volunteer work, or related sectors is valued.
  • Relevant Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud are recommended.
