We are looking for a Lead Platform Architect (m/f/d)-AI.

Start: 02.09.24
End: 31.12.24
Volume: Full- and Part-time possible (depending on availability)
Location: Remote
Language: Fluent English, German is a plus

The Lead Platform Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture of the data platform to support multiple AI and data workstreams. This includes defining logical architecture, documenting decisions, deriving technical roadmaps, and ensuring integration, scalability, security, and performance of the platform. Collaboration with platform teams is essential to align needs and ensure a coherent architecture that enables AI use-cases at speed and scale.

Skills:

• Architectural Design: Expertise in designing scalable, secure, high-performance data platform architectures, with industry best practices such as domain-driven design and data mesh.
• Technical Leadership: Strong leadership to guide multiple workstreams and development teams.
• Integration Knowledge: Proficiency in integrating diverse systems, including data analytics, AI, and cloud services.
• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, SAP), databases, APIs, microservices architecture.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Innovation: Strong problem-solving skills and drive for innovation.
• Security & Compliance: Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.

Must have:

• 5-10 years of experience
• Knowledge areas:
• AI Technologies: Basic knowledge of AI, especially GenAI and LLMs.
• AI Governance Lead: Experience creating governance frameworks, policies, and standards; understanding of AI ethics, data privacy laws, GDPR, EU AI Act.
• Platform Architecture: Knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure, SAP), databases, APIs, microservices, security, and compliance.
• Product & Leadership: Strategic planning, cross-functional leadership, customer focus, product mindset, user experience, digital product characteristics in data & analytics.
• Technologies: MS Azure, SAP, LLMs, Databricks.
