As a Lead Sales/Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with our Global Product development teams, external customers, and the EU Sales team to understand their challenges, provide technical expertise, and architect and design technical integration solutions throughout Europe.

A key component of the role will be working with our Product development teams, focusing on prioritising feature development to support new and existing customers in their adoption of the Entegral platforms. Solutions Engineering combines responsibilities of software, systems, integration, and data engineering.

You will be responsible for evaluating elements of technology’s effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, research, and investigation, and offering recommendations for improvements that result in increased quality and effectiveness. You will work directly with our AVP of Sales and customers to help ensure customer satisfaction and alignment with the technical teams.

Some travel throughout Europe and internationally will be required as part of the role.

Responsibilities

The areas of responsibility for this role include, but are not limited to:

  1. Conduct in-depth consultations with potential customers, uncovering their marketing challenges, workflows, and requirements.
  2. Provide technical guidance and support to help external partners understand the platform's capabilities and integrations to effectively position joint solutions to potential customers.
  3. Detail high-level architectural diagrams describing the API Service connection points, callouts to external partner systems, and data exchange protocols.
  4. Partner with the sales team to identify and qualify leads, support negotiations, and highlight the platform’s long-term benefits.
  5. Respond to technical product design requests; ensure seamless platform adoption for clients, while keeping the product engineering team focused on high-impact feature development.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams (product and engineering) to customize solutions based on specific customer requirements, communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  7. Develop and deliver engaging product demos, showcasing how our product platform can streamline processes, boost leads, and deliver measurable results.
  8. Craft proposals and ROI analyses, effectively communicating the value proposition of Entegral’s platform.
  9. Foster strong relationships with existing customers, providing ongoing technical support and uncovering opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  10. Design, develop, and maintain automated test libraries by product to ensure the release of quality software.
  11. Work with internal teams to analyze and resolve complex platform issues, leveraging Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  12. Stay informed of the latest marketing automation trends, competitor offerings, and industry best practices.
  13. European and international travel will be required up to 20%.

Qualifications

  • Advanced experience in application design and development at an enterprise level.
  • Extensive experience with object-oriented programming, including JAVA, Node.js, or SpringBoot.
  • Extensive experience in SQL or NoSQL DB structures, experience with DB migration scripts (SQL Server, MySQL, Mongo).
  • Direct experience with various design and architectural patterns.
  • Proven experience working on applications that leverage Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Proven experience designing and developing in a micro-service environment.
  • Proven experience architecting and developing large complex applications.
  • Proven experience developing and deploying solutions with hosted cloud-based solutions (Azure, GCP).
  • Proven experience developing and deploying solutions with cloud computing (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse audiences including executives, customers, sales teams, and technical teams.

Additional Information

Salary - Competitive

Location - Work From Home (must be based within the UK), occasional travel to our European HQ in Egham and Entegral office in Leeds. European and international travel will be required up to 20%.
