Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (SaaS) to lead a global engineering team focused on platform infrastructure and cloud-native SaaS products. You will guide design, code quality, and delivery within an Agile environment, working on Azure-based stack and containerised microservices.

You’ll mentor engineers, shape platform capabilities, and drive scalable, secure solutions across multi-region deployments.

Qualifications

Experience designing and developing management/controls for SaaS platforms.
Experience with multi-region or multi-tenant deployments on Azure.
Proven SaaS development lifecycle experience from requirements to deployment and operations.
Strong OO design, SOLID principles, clean code and Agile delivery.
Hands-on C#/.NET backend development and Azure cloud services experience.
Experience with containerised microservices, Kubernetes and deployment strategies.
IaC experience with OpenTofu or Terraform on Azure, with modular infrastructure definitions.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
Security best practices: least privilege, identity management, secret handling, private endpoints, and secure supply chain.
Strong communication and technical leadership to guide teams and present outcomes.

Responsibilities

Provide technical input and leadership to the engineering team, including code quality and release practices.
Design and document solutions meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
Lead by example with hands-on delivery and maintainable, testable code.
Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives to improve velocity and practices.
Coach and mentor colleagues to foster a collaborative and quality-focused culture.
