Job summary

Selwood Housing is seeking a proactive Planning Team Leader to guide a high-performing team responsible for repairs and maintenance scheduling, delivering a reliable and customer-focused service.

You’ll optimise the Dynamic Resource Scheduler, use data to drive improvements, coach colleagues, and collaborate with Repairs, Voids, Gas and Customer Support to ensure safe, compliant housing operations.

Qualifications

• GCSEs Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths or equivalent experience.
• Experience of planning, scheduling and diary management.
• Demonstrable experience of managing and developing a team, providing clear standards, direction and performance management.
• Strong customer service, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of the social housing sector.
• Experience of working with the general public and external agencies.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive environment where colleagues and customers are treated with fairness, dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing planning team to schedule repairs and maintenance efficiently.
• Drive performance and continuous improvement using resource planning and coaching.
• Optimise the Dynamic Resource Scheduler (DRS) with data and operational insight.
• Collaborate with Repairs, Voids, Gas, Electrical and Customer Support to deliver safe, compliant services.
• Develop people, improve processes and deliver great customer outcomes.
