Job summary

SYSTRA UK & Ireland is seeking a Principal Engineer (Physical Security) to lead the development of secure-by-design capabilities within the Systems Engineering & Assurance discipline. You will shape security governance, risk assessments and scalable security processes across our transport projects.

You'll bring UK rail sector experience, professional security qualifications (CSyP/RSES/ICAO AvSec PM) and a hands-on approach to integrating physical security with project lifecycles, delivering

Qualifications

• Proven physical security experience with commercial acumen.
• Experience in UK rail industry security management on projects.
• Memberships from UK security institutions (CSyP / RSES / ICAO AvSec PM).
• Knowledge of security engineering concepts and standards and lifecycle delivery.

Responsibilities

• Define secure-by-design processes for projects across the portfolio.
• Lead security strategy and client engagements with innovative solutions.
• Design and manage physical security across projects to meet threats.
• Advise on Security overlay to project plans and assurance frameworks.
• Review deliverables to ensure compliance with established processes.
• Develop and improve the physical security capability within SYSTRA.
• Guide peers in implementing security requirements and processes.
• Prepare technical deliverables and tender responses.
