Job summary

Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is seeking an Assistant Team Manager - Occupational Therapy to lead the Front Door duty, triage referrals and allocate cases within Adult Social Care. The role is full-time with hybrid working and a salary of £50,602–£55,120 per annum.

You will provide professional leadership to OT and Social Work staff, manage complex cases, and drive service improvements in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and OT degree required.
• Significant post-qualification experience in adult social care.
• Supervisory or leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act.
• Strong communication and partnership-working skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Front Door OT duty, triage and allocation function.
• Provide professional leadership to Occupational Therapy staff and Social Work staff.
• Oversee referrals and allocations; manage complex cases and safeguarding queries.
• Promote strengths-based practice and service improvement initiatives.
