Job summary

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join the Front Door Team. This full-time, permanent post delivers early, short-term support to adults, helping them regain confidence and maintain independence across the community in a hybrid working environment.

The role includes carrying out assessments, collaborating with other professionals, and managing a caseload.

This is a full time, permanent role with hybrid working, and a salary of £26,895 – £30,132 per annum.

The role:

TheOccupational Therapy Assistantrole is within the Front Door Team which consists of Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, and Social Care Practitioners.

The Front Door Team iswhere people begin their journey with Adult Social Care. It is the place where we listen first, understand what matters, and work alongside residents to find the right support at the right time. We work with adults across the borough who may be experiencing changes in their health, independence, or wellbeing. This includes people living with physical or sensory impairments, age-related conditions, mental health needs, neurodivergence, or substance use challenges. Our role is to offer early, short-term support, helping people regain confidence, maintain independence, and stay connected to their communities.

Your role will involve:
