Job summary

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead is seeking an Assistant Team Manager – Occupational Therapy for the Front Door team within Adult Social Care Operations. You will provide advanced OT practice and operational leadership, oversee referrals and allocations, and mentor OT staff to deliver timely, person-centred responses for residents.

This role supports complex case management, safeguarding and risk planning, with a focus on independence and service improvement in a hybrid working

Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration.
• Recognised Occupational Therapy degree and registration required.
• Experience in adult social care with supervisory/leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Front Door Occupational Therapy duty, triage and allocation function.
• Provide professional leadership, supervision and practice oversight to OT staff.
• Manage a small complex caseload and support safeguarding, MCA work and risk planning.
• Collaborate with health colleagues and multidisciplinary teams to achieve outcomes.
• Drive service improvement and promote strengths-based practice and technology.
