Job summary

Kido is seeking a Nursery Room Leader at our New Malden nursery to drive day-to-day operations and nurture a vibrant learning environment. You will lead a dedicated team, collaborate with the DSL to safeguard children, and shape an ambitious curriculum that delivers excellent education for every child.

The role requires Level 3 childcare qualification and management experience in Early Years. Salary ranges from £28,000 to £33,000 with a 40-hour week and full-time commitment.

Qualifications

• Relevant childcare qualification with Level 3 minimum.
• Level 2 Maths and English including functional skills if Level 3 obtained after 2014.

Responsibilities

• Lead your team by managing day-to-day activities and communicating with staff and parents.
• Be a positive role model and inspire outstanding teaching and learning each day.
• Lead your team’s performance reviews with supportive feedback and SMART goals.

Education

Level 3 childcare qualification

Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English (including functional skills)
