Job summary

Kido in South West London is seeking a Nursery Manager to lead the setting with a focus on high standards of care, safeguarding, and educational excellence. This full-time role (40 hours per week) offers a salary of £38,000 to £49,000 plus discretionary bonus and opportunities for career progression within a growing international nursery group.

You will hold a Level 3 childcare qualification, have management experience in a large nursery, and be prepared to act as Designated Safeguarding Lead

Qualifications

• A Level 3 childcare qualification is essential.
• Experience leading a large nursery with strong safeguarding practices.
• Level 2 Maths and English required if Level 3 achieved after 2014.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic management of the nursery, upholding care, safeguarding, and operational excellence.
• Lead and develop the nursery team through recruitment, supervision, appraisals, coaching, and CPD.
• Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and ensure compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, and health & safety.
