Job summary

Kido Barnes Nursery & Preschool is seeking a Nursery Room Leader to drive everyday learning and maintain our caring culture. This full-time role (40 hours per week) offers a salary of £28,000 to £33,000 and the chance to grow with an international, fast-growing company.

You will lead a team, model outstanding teaching, and work closely with safeguarding leads to protect children. The role requires Level 3 childcare and leadership experience in an Early Years setting, with Level 2 English if

Qualifications

• Level 3 childcare qualification is mandatory.
• Experience leading in an Early Years setting is required.
• Level 2 English including functional skills is required if Level 3 obtained after 2014.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day activities and communicate key information to staff and parents.
• Inspire outstanding teaching and learning every day.
• Conduct performance reviews with SMART goals and development plans.
• Work with Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure child safety and welfare.
• Drive an ambitious room curriculum and ensure the key person approach.
• Support continued professional development for your team.
