Job summary

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Deputy Manager for the Intensive Support Service (Band 6, with a Band 5 development option) in the Learning Disabilities Directorate. The role covers community crisis and inpatient care, leading a multidisciplinary team to assess and plan care.

You will demonstrate expertise in crisis intervention, risk assessment, Positive Behaviour Support, and collaboration with acute and primary care services.

Qualifications

• RNLD or RMN Registered.
• Nursing mentorship or Teaching and Assessing in Clinical Practice qualification.
• UK driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in crisis intervention and Positive Behaviour Support.
• Carry out comprehensive risk assessments and develop risk management plans.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings with partners across community and inpatient settings.
• Advocate for service users and support development within the Intensive Support Service.
