Job summary

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 5 Learning Disability Nurse to work within the Specialist Community Learning Disability Team. You will support adults with learning disabilities with complex needs in community settings, alongside families and multi-disciplinary colleagues.

The role involves clinical activity, delegated duties from senior staff, and contributing to high-quality care within integrated health pathways.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of national/local policy and good practice in health and social care.
• Strong communication skills for work with clients, carers and professionals at varying levels.
• Knowledge of the NMC code and standards of professional practice.

Responsibilities

• Support the clinical activity of community learning disability teams to meet local needs.
• Undertake delegated duties from senior nurses and provide admin support within the team.
• Deliver care in community settings and contribute to outcomes.
