Job summary

Broadridge is seeking a Lead .NET Software Engineer in the United Kingdom to shape technical direction and delivery of our core platform. Qualifications

• Hands-on C#/.NET development
• Experience delivering production microservices
• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines; Jenkins preferred
• Mentor engineers and influence engineering standards

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across design, implementation and delivery
• Contribute hands-on in the codebase and model strong engineering practices
• Shape architecture across microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and frontend components
• Define and promote engineering standards, patterns and best practices
• Support engineers through reviews, mentoring and problem solving
• Collaborate with product, delivery and stakeholders to align solutions with priorities
• Translate requirements into clear designs and actionable work
• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement
• Contribute to AWS-based architecture and pipelines (Lambda, ECS, EC2)
• Improve observability, reliability, and security of the platform
• Embed AI-assisted development into workflows
