Job summary

Broadridge Financial Solutions is seeking a Lead .NET Software Engineer to shape technical direction, architecture and delivery of our core platform. This hands-on leadership role combines engineering depth with pragmatic architectural judgement across microservices, APIs, event‑driven systems, and frontend components.

You will mentor engineers, drive engineering standards, and contribute to AI‑assisted development within our AWS-based environment, including Lambda, ECS and EC2.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in C# and .NET, building production-grade software.
• Proven ability to design and run production microservices and APIs.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous integration.
• Knowledge of BFF patterns and frontend integration approaches.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and relational databases.
• Solid software engineering foundations and design patterns.
• Ability to influence technical decisions and mentor others.
• CI/CD expertise; Jenkins experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with AWS and Lambda/ECS/EC2 is a plus.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools is beneficial.
• Excellent communication with engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across design, implementation and delivery.
• Contribute hands-on in the codebase while guiding architecture choices.
• Shape architecture across microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and frontend components.
• Define engineering standards, patterns and best practices.
• Mentor engineers, review designs, and solve technical issues.
• Collaborate with product, delivery and business stakeholders to align solutions.
• Translate requirements into clear designs and actionable work.
• Support AI agent-enabled workflows and guardrails for AI tools.
• Improve observability, reliability, security and operational readiness.
