Job summary

SEA Ltd is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to lead technical direction across major defence/aerospace projects in the UK. Flexible site options include Beckington, Bristol or Barnstaple, with regular site visits and a salary up to £80k depending on experience.

You will drive system architecture, mentor engineers, and ensure robust lifecycle management from concept to production, delivering safe, reliable solutions for national security and maritime safety.

Qualifications

• Degree in relevant engineering discipline.
• Extensive Systems Engineering knowledge and lifecycle leadership.
• DOORS and MBSE experience.
• Defence or Aerospace experience would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Technical leadership of defined work packages.
• Leading and mentoring project team members.
• Managing Requirements throughout the Engineering Lifecycle.
• Proving technical inputs to bidding activities.
• Integration and production qualification activities.
• Taking prototypes and developing them into products.
• Work package generation.
