Job summary

SEA Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead design, development and support of our naval systems. You will progress design activities through to in-service support, with flexibility to be based at Bristol, Beckington or Barnstaple. Salary up to £70k depending on experience.

The role requires managing requirements, proving inputs to bids, integration and qualification, and hands-on product testing across the engineering lifecycle. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

  • Degree, HND or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Extensive Knowledge and experience of working within the Engineering Lifecycle as a Systems Engineer.
  • A good understanding of requirements capture and experience of using a requirements management tool to manage requirements.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of using MBSE.
  • Leadership and team leading.
  • Experience of Sonar or the Underwater Battlespace environment.

Job Description

You will take responsibility for the design, development and support of our products. You will be required to progress the design, development, design proving, test, commissioning and in-service support of the equipment. Senior Systems Engineer will be based at either our Bristol, Beckington or Barnstaple site. This role allows for flexible working. The salary for this role is up to £70k, depending on experience.
